In Black Run America (BRA), Hollywood is one of the primary cultural unifiers. Black Fictional Images (BFI) from the character of Captain Stephen Hiller played by Will Smith in Independence Day to Miles Dyson played by Joe Morton in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, from the character of Azeem played by Morgan Freeman in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves to Terence Mann as played by James Earl Jones in Field of Dreams, these and numerous other actors and films have done more to burnish the image of Black people in America than all the Civil Rights activists combined. Indeed, the manipulation of characters like these and numerous others over the years have gone far toward manufacturing perceptions of Black people that reality just cannot replicate. Now even Thor, a movie based upon Nordic gods and mythology, has cast Black actor Idris Elba as a Northern European deity. Often characters such as these -- dubbed by one writer as the "Numinous Negro" -- provide moral clarity and guidance, helping the feckless white protagonist to overcome some obstacle or achieve some quest, and thus the positive image of the Black person is manufactured. A transference occurs, then, from this "Numinous Negro" that is rarely seen in a negative light into the positive image of Black Americans today that is out of kilter with reality. Shocking the Public with Truth

It has been said that "Telling the Truth in a time of Lies is a Revolutionary act".
The Author exposes a paradigm that everyone is aware of but dare not say for fear of being labeled "Racist". Television, Movies, Commercials push an image of negros as intelligent scientists, Doctors, Lawyers, Computer and Electronics experts in stable loving families. The reality is that the average I.Q. of negros is 85, that 50% of them never graduate High school, that their most common job is barber, that 70% of children are born into an illegitimate household and that almost 92% of interracial crime (including 50% of murders) is caused by this small demographic.
Regular people are aware of this, for they see reality shows such as "COPS" or "The First 48". They see the "Thug" lifestyle, the Rap Videos filled with White hate, They see through family members experiences the tragic cost of negro crime. For example, in 2005 according to Dept of Justice, 37,000 Whites were raped by negros, while Whites raped ZERO negros (See Chart 48, DOJ Crime Stats, 2005). This is an astonishing number, equal to the number of fatal car crashes in the USA, equal to the dead from the entire Vietnam war and IT HAPPENS EVERY YEAR. Youtube supplies security video of robberies or murders of convenience store clerks, offices, stores, shopping centers, the majority committed by negros.
This leads to a separation of reality between the average experience of the American people in interaction with negros and that portrayed by TV. Worse is the casting of negros in White parts in movies such as "Thor" and "I am Legend" (A remake of Omega Man) for the sake of "making negros feel "relevant"". Missing is movies cast the other way, such as a movie about Martian Luther King, jr. with the part played by Tom Cruise. That Hollywood would push such a defacement of reality and history is bizarre enough, but that American Companies would try the same thing is sad in the extreme.
This book illustrates this bizarre defacement with humor and insightful commentary. An excellent buy!

Interesting thesis

I can't really disagree too much with the arguments in this book. Given all the mini race riots and black-on-white attacks going on in almost every major city recently, the dissonance between movies and reality is striking. I think it is a tribute to how postracial most whites are that we watch these movies and take them on their entertainment value without thinking much, if at all, about the race of the characters. Unfortunately, as pointed out by others, this book has mispelled words, misused words, missing words, repeated paragraphs. About every 3-4 pages I find something that I wish I could fix. Badly-edited text always makes me question the author's intelligence. Granted, I'll write a review on Amazon, read it over a couple of times, post it, then read it weeks later and find a typo. But at least I go back and fix it! Also, the hyperlinks worked for the first part of the book, but after approximately the first 1/4, they stopped working. I'm only about 1/2 done with the book, so will see if they start working again later in the book. A decent read, but needs editing!!!

Hoo-ray for Hollywood...in Blackface!

[[VIDEOID:mo1XEVUVYCP647D]]If you read Paul Kersey's, HOLLYWOOD IN BLACKFACE, you'll never waste your time going to the Fed's dot-gov website for ideas on how to celebrate Black History Month...you'll dig out your DVD of INDEPENDENCE DAY, or maybe, DJANGO, UNCHAINED and get into the spirit. Or even THE SPIRIT, where you can sit back and watch a Black guy pummel a White guy, ruthlessly (in the first few minutes, I think it was). Likewise after reading this book, you'll never again wonder how it is that a Morgan Freeman or a Samuel L. Jackson or some other big-name brother-of-color can star-in, wrap-up, and premiere multiple movies all right around the very same time.
Hooray for HOLLYWOOD (IN BLACKFACE).
