Great Resource

As a veterinary student, this is an absolutely fantastic resource, and will definitely be one of the "keepers" for the rest of my career. It is especially nice because instead of being strictly an anatomical resource, it also has clinical references of relevance. I love that this information is kept separate (anatomy in the front of the book and clinically relevant material at the back) because it doesn't distract you while you are studying the anatomy. The only reason this review is 4 stars is that the translation to English sometimes is not very clear. I would have given it 4.5 stars were that possible. My recommendation - get this book! I am also strongly considering getting the others two (dog and cow).

Beautiful Pictures

The drawings are wonderful. The quality of the book itself is nice. It is a pleasure just to turn the pages. I had to make myself stop looking at the pictures and read the text. This book is great to open and look up a specific anatomy question without reading the whole book ... Of course, if you love the anatomy of horses, it is also a wonderful read.

A great reference

These books were readily available in our veterinary anatomy laboratory. The images provided a very clear description of various structures, and also provided a way in which this information is clinically relevant. Definitely a book to keep on the shelf during clinical year rotations.
